Terms of Use

Truth Focal is a community gallery for artists who have something to say, sometimes political, sometimes humours but never hateful. By using Truth Focal you agree to these terms.

Who can use Truth Focal

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

Your account

Keep your password private and your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Your username is permanent and publicly visible.

Your content

• You keep ownership and copyright in the artwork you upload. Truth Focal does not claim ownership of your work.
• You must have the rights needed to upload what you post.
• You remain responsible for everything you upload.
• By uploading or otherwise submitting any photographs, images, documents or other content (“Submitted Content”) to Truth Focal, you grant Truth Focal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, reproduce, process and analyse the Submitted Content solely to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, operate and support the Truth Focal service, including generating and delivering analysis, reports and related results to you. You retain all ownership rights you may have in the Submitted Content. This licence does not transfer ownership of your Submitted Content to Truth Focal and does not permit Truth Focal to sell, license, publish or use your Submitted Content for advertising or marketing purposes, except with your separate permission. You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions or authority to submit the Submitted Content to Truth Focal and to grant us the licence described above. This licence ends when you delete the work or your account, apart from copies kept briefly in backups.
• What you upload must follow our Copyright & Content Policy.

Reporting and moderation

Anyone signed in can report artwork. Reports are reviewed by a human administrator. Reported work is not deleted automatically. We may hide or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, for serious or repeated violations of these terms or the content policy.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your Studio. This permanently removes your profile, artwork, uploaded files, ratings, favourites and reports.

Service and liability

Truth Focal is provided "as is" and free of charge. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be preserved — please keep your own copies of your work. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top of this page will change, and continuing to use Truth Focal means you accept the updated terms.
